Describe use before choosing an address
A consultancy may receive mail in one place and work at clients' sites. A restaurant needs premises suited to preparing and serving meals. A concierge company may need linen storage without receiving guests at its registered office. Describe equipment, visitors, opening hours and practical uses before selecting an address; a convenient location label does not show whether the space supports daily operations.
Separate articles from opening
The registered office is part of the company's articles. Recording it does not authorise every activity in that building. Official trade and restaurant procedures deal with establishments and operations within their respective scope. Ask the competent municipality about the actual premises, especially where work or a change of use is planned. Incorporation and permission to operate should appear as separate items in your calendar.
Compare two premises offers
For a Pilates studio, compare capacity, access, circulation, sanitation, equipment and technical constraints; a mail-address service does not meet those needs. For renovation work, examine parking, storage and deliveries. Check what the contract permits, who receives official correspondence and how documents reach you when absent or after changing providers. Include practical handover arrangements instead of considering only the monthly rent or advertised address.
Prepare evidence for the decision
Gather a proposed lease or use agreement, full address, layout, activity description and planned works. Identify the owner or contact able to explain the property's position. Your next step is to confirm intended use before commitment, then align the registered office, activity records and premises procedures with the answers. No partner office or available commercial address is assumed.
